rake the leaves or cut the grass

weed the flower beds or repot houseplants

wash their windows

help install smoke detectors

take them to school plays and concerts

wash and set their hair

give a manicure and/or pedicure

offer to walk their dogs

or just spend some time with them - talking, sharing a newspaper, clipping coupons together, helping with a jigsaw puzzle, playing cards, anything!
